Amphora Research Group
(ARG) was established in 2001 at the Department of Computer Science, FEI, VŠB-Technical
University of Ostrava. The intention was to form an organized research unit
specialized in topics of Information Retrieval (IR) and other related
disciplines.
Fields of interest
The ARG research activities relate mostly to applications in Information Retrieval (in the broad meaning). We deal with the following particular areas:

Amphora Research Group organizes specialized lectures
presented at the periodical ARG workshop. The workshop is public for anyone who
is interested in current problems of Computer Science (especially IR). The ARG
